Role: foreign speaking teacher – June 2013 and 2017

Responsibilities- Visiting different Yoon’s English Academies daily; teaching the students reading and speaking techniques. Teaching grammar to students, and then creating a friendly environment for the children practice free speaking with the lessons learnt.

Role: Beginner and intermediate business English instructor-October 2014 to February 2015

Responsibilities- Conducting daily conversation classes for beginner and intermediate level students. Preparing topic material for use in classes. Editing of emails and report documents. Writing month progress reports.

 

Global Engineering Technology

Role: Business English Tutor-July 2014 to October 2014

Responsibilities- teaching weekly private classes fo 2 students, covering business conversation, grammar and vocabulary. Editing letters and emails, as well as preparing self-study material for the students to use themselves.

Role: Conversation teacher and café host

Responsibilities- teaching English conversation classes to staff. Creating and translating for English postings, signs and menus. Hosting birthday parties and Events. Teaching children’s baking classes in English.

Responsibilities- teaching English to elementary school students. Assigning, editing and discussion short story homework. Creating tests based on classroom studied lessons.

Role: Bank software Tester - May 2005 to December 2005

Responsibilities- recording daily notes from project management conference calls. Beta testing global banking software. Creating fake banking trades to monitor and contacting third outside sources for results, compiling spreadsheets of daily project progress, documenting testing results on project forums.

 

 

Hobbies and leisure activities

I enjoy sports, music, cooking, board games, watching movies or TV, Cooking and reading. I have studied Korean at Sogang University and in my spare time. As well, I have begun to study Japanese at a language exchange.

I like to travel within Korea and learn more about its culture and life-style. I also like to write stories and acting on television.
